Peace and Possibility Project Celebrates Plan-B’s 25th Anniversary

Salt Lake City, Utah - In honor Plan-B Theatre Company’s 25th anniversary, the Jane & Tami Marquardt Peace & Possibility Project have made a generous grant commemorating the organization’s remarkable milestone. The grant supports Plan-B in continuing to offer the lowest ticket price of any professional theatre in Utah, ensuring price is not a barrier for those wishing to attend the Theatre Company’s productions.

“Plan-B strives towards a spirit of inclusion,” said Jane Marquardt. “For many years, Plan-B has been telling powerful stories through theater and changing lives. I am so proud to support Plan-B and their ongoing efforts to bringing awareness to important social issues.”

“Jane and Tami have been generous supporters for many years,” stated Jerry Rapier, Producing Director at Plan-B. “Their generous donation will allow us to continue offering patrons opportunities to think a little differently, to consider a point-of-view that may have been previously foreign, and to listen in a way they may not have before.”

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Plan-B is producing its first-ever original musical and four additional plays, all by Utah playwrights. Plan-B produces unique and socially conscious theatre to bring awareness to important issues such as race, sexual orientation, and human rights, while emphasizing new plays by Utah playwrights. Their goal is to encourage patrons to think differently, consider a point of view that may have been previously foreign, and/or to listen in a way that may have not before.
